Objet de la Société en France des Fils de la Révolution Américaine

  1. Aimer et conserver le souvenir de ceux qui, pendant la Révolution américaine, travaillèrent à établir l’indépendance du peuple américain.
  2. Favoriser des relations cordiales entre leurs descendants.
  3. Encourager les recherches historiques se rapportant à la Guerre de l’Indépendance américaine.
  4. Maintenir les liens d’amitié qui se sont formés entre les peuples français et américain, au moment de la naissance de la nation américaine.

The Society shall be known as « The Society in France of the Sons of the American Revolution « . Its headquarters shall be in the City of Paris.]

[Article 2 – Object

The purposes and objects of the Society shall be the same as those set forth in the Constitution of the National Society, and more particularly as follows:

  1. To cherish and perpetuate the memory of those who by their services during the American Revolution established the independence of the American people.
  2. To promote fellowship among their descendants.
  3. To encourage historical research in relation to the War for American Independence.
  4. To maintain the ties of friendship between the French and American peoples created at the birth of the American Nation.]
